Light Bright

I want more neon clothes. Bought new Tikirani top and straw fedora at UO after having a delicious Thai dinner. The heat is unbearable so I spent my day lounging around. I can only have so much sun in one week.

In Communications 301 we had to pick a famous speech to present and I chose Elizabeth Cady Stanton's "The Destructive Male." So true. I got a 97/100 on my first Introduction speech. Whee!

Today at dinner my mom said, "Andrew's going to be the first one to leave since Berkeley starts in August." Of course I've known this but to hear that fact is sad to me! I'm going to Irvine with Courtney and Huey, but I'm leaving my other friends too. :( I guess that's what ichat is for though.

Da Ba Dee Da Ba Die

Ralph Lauren polo, Ruehl shorts, Steve Madden flats, Forever tunic, Urban chains, Kimchi+Blue shirt

Feeling pretty blue this week, obviously. Lots on my mind. I hate liars and shady people. But what else is new?

Cologne

Free people tank, UO top and bag, Steve Madden boots

Once again I managed to avoid all hallway patrol/campus security and make it through the day without getting detention for my outfit. I can't help it that it's sunny outside and my legs are begging to be free. Thanks Amy for the lovely braid.

I'm excited about all the potential in these boots. I'm on the search for the perfect floral print dress. Think along the lines of Cologne's vintage inspired line.

Melange

Borrowed top, Hong Kong skirt, Semantiks cardian, Onyx sandals

Been doing some serious thinking about my near future and what I really want and expect from myself. It's crazy to think about how much I've changed since I started high school. It'd like to think it's been for the better, but only time will tell whether everything works out the way I hope. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Trick

Leopard print pants are funnnn. Especially when they're ridiculously inexpensive and have fun zippers on the bottom. Friends liked them too. This weather is driving me crazy and messed up my plans to wear sandals. Can it just be Spring already?

I was feeling particularly inspired by China Le's sliced up shirt, I did my own rendition at 2am. Not particularly the best time, but I think it came out alright. People at school seemed to be impressed by my "skeleton shirt" and were awed that I made it myself. Which reminds me, I still need to make my dress...

Greetings

Urban jacket, Lace INC tank, Vintage skirt, Random tights, Urban boots

I'm writing this from Chicago, seeing as the wind picked me up and carried me and my umbrella away. Definitely wearing warmer clothes tomorrow.

All My Single Ladies

Open slub cardigan, H&M tank, Wannabe bandage skirt, Random tights, Betsey Johnson necklace

It's difficult finding natural light when it's so gloomy out, but I realized I have a huge window by the back stair case, and that worked fine. Today was Valentine's Day at school which was ridiculous with all the balloons and cakes everywhere. Of course I wore black and a face that said "Death to all who oppose me!" I wore this heart necklace though. The teapot, slice of cake, tea cup, and hearts in the necklace move around. Valentines is pointless for the single, but I gave out these cute ribbon roses anyway.

I hate when people come over unannounced, especially after I told them not to come. Pretty sure I gave off a horrible first impression on this guy. He didn't even remember my name. I just had to throw my coat over my p.e. shirt and shorts. Not to add that I wasn't wearing any make up and I didn't really want them to come in so I probably seemed really rude... Aih.

Ps,

Yummmmmy

Pictures To Burn

Rite Aid sweatshirt (hah!), Urban pants and boots, Forever necklace

People are commenting on my all black outfits and saying I look goth. I don't think so at all. Sorry I don't wear American Eagle printed tee's and too tight jeans with converse. Oh well. Despite school driving me crazy lately, I got some great things at UO, had a delicious dinner, and got to see my favorite person. And, I got accepted to another University. Things are getting better.

Cyclops

Gap top, vintage skirt, Wet Seal leggings, Urban boots, Stud necklace

I had to drive to school with only one contact in because I lost the left one and ran our of spares. It was a little scary, considering I had poor depth perception. But I had extras in my locker. And no, wearing glasses to school was not an option. Senior year has definitely been stressful with all the college stuff, APs, and whatnot, but I rarely have homework. I enjoy my afternoon naps and weekday excursions.

Risky

INC top worn as dress, Forever jacket with mom's brooch, Cole Haan sandals

To quote Courtney, "Ah, I haven't seen your legs in a while!" I decided to take advantage of this sunny weather and don this top I bought last year. I love the cobalt with the black overlay. It shrunk a couple inches, so I spent last night stretching it. Oh, the things I do for my outfits. Can't wait for it to get even warmer. Then people will stop giving me so many looks and asking me if I'm cold.

I'm currently working on letting little things go, but it's still hard. I know I'm not good at forgiving other peoples' faults, but at least I'm trying. Maybe if everyone didn't insist on being so annoying it'd be easier...

Stronger

HI AUBREY!!

This picture of a shark is just a representation of an actual shark, which is not as real as the concept of a shark. Philosophy is taking over my mind. Currently loving long hair, chocolate chip and craisin cookies, and my memory foam mattress pad. The most exciting thing happening at school is the fact that we've been going to the library, so I just gossip and google pictures of food. Super bowl weekend! Sounds like a party.

Socrates

When busy streets amass with people would stop to hold their heads heavy.

Huey's camisole, Sevens, Guess necklace, patent leather flats

Today in philosophy I learned the difference between true belief and knowledge. Just because you believe something is true doesn't mean you have knowledge, you have to have an account to justify it. And even still, if you have an account, it may just be a coincidence. So when people claim they know something, they usually don't. So true.

Give It One More Try

Grey skies clouding up the things we used to see with wide eyes. Maybe everything was meant to be this way. Will it ever change or are we stuck here on our own? It's all gone grey, it's all gone grey.

Silk target tank, Express sweater, Urban pants, Boots from Amy, Miscellaneous jewelry

Quick glimpse into my room. The gray hues are so relaxing and the pillows are way comfortable. It's finally Friday and I'm not completely satisfied with my grades, but that's what happens when senioritis finally catches up to you. This weekend should be fun.

Wolf

Silence + Noise capelet from Urban, urban leggings, boots from Amy, M by MJ bracelet

Of course the day I take the convertible and plan to put the top down with Courtney, it is cold and gloomy. At least I finally got to wear my capelet. Finals were impossible, whatever. Went to get my last HPV shot today. It's a little ridiculous being in a pediatricians office with little kids staring at me. I won't be back there though, I'm getting old! Got some of my favorites from the Chinese market then picked up Huey for dinner and chill session. Finals are over for me! Free at last!
