Take Me Away

Wednesday afternoon I went to Berkeley with my sister and Huey. We did a little shopping, had falafel, and got frozen yogurt. It was delicious and the weather was a nice change from the sweltering Sacramento heat.

I totally forgot about how last Thursday we welcomed Nick back from his month long trip around Europe! My mom cooked him a Chinese feast, which we all loved. Then we hung out and saw The Ugly Truth. It was funny how it was supposed to take place and was filmed in Sacramento! It got me thinking about relationships. We often act how we want others to perceive us, so in a way we change ourselves to fit others. Then eventually, they'll like who they think we are. What we should be looking for is people who like us for ourselves. So, if people don't like me because I am sarcastic, use hand sanitizer often, memorize what people wear, or crack my back - whatever, I don't need you in my life.

Second Saturday

Still don't understand the grand appeal of Second Saturday. I guess it's just another excuse to be drunk and smoke in public. It can be quite entertaining, but then again, I don't like looking around constantly checking that I won't be thrown up on or questioned by the cops.

All Smiles

Doing what makes me happy and enjoying life. Happy 4th of July! Barbeque and festivities tomorrow. Time for good food with good people.

Last night we celebrated Ryan's 18th birthday by going to Jackson Rancheria then hanging out. It was a really fun night, despite Brian's car getting a flat in the middle of a dark, abandoned road. I felt like I was in a horror movie, waiting to be killed. We all laughed about it after though. Long night that turned into morning. I didn't go to bed until 8:30AM. I think that's a record.

Sin City

Vegas was a blast. I am so glad Huey came along. How could I have fun in Sin City without my partner in crime?  There are so many pictures but I decided to post these two because A) I love my new fedora B) I love my knotted silver top and strawberry daiquiris.

My new cruiser was fixed tonight so I plan to ride it a lot in the near future. Basket is perfect for Billy or picnic supplies.  I have so many things I want to do this summer, so I need to get crackin! I don't have time to waste.

The Airway

A little late, but I've officially graduated high school!  So done with tedious work and unnecessary drama.  I learned everything from all the countries of the world to just how shady people can be.  High school was ... an experience. I'm looking forward to the future.

Grad night at California and Disneyland was amaaaazing!  The bus ride was ridiculously long, but the rides were so fun and the lines actually weren't that long.  The worst was Space Mountain, but it was so worth it.  The all-nighter didn't throw off my sleep schedule at all since I never sleep anyway.

So, that night I planned to go to a party.  Little did I know I would have a near death experience and be in the center of a crime scene!  I forgot that a party isn't a party until someone gets stabbed and shot, my bad.

My house has once again proved to be a center for disaster.  Good thing I have a friend nice enough to help wash vomit out of the street.  However, this is also the friend who picked me up and tried to throw me in the pool!  Aih ... summer nights.

Leaving for Vegas tomorrow! Las Vegas better watch out!

Chicky Chicky Boom Boom

I'm back! For now at least.  Anyway, life has been much better since it's summer.  Last weekend my momma took me to the mall to get my graduation present - this new MacBook! Loooove it. Graduation is tomorrow and I seriously can not wait.  Here are some pictures from recently activities:

Sleepy

My life has come to the point where the only thing keeping me sane are thoughts of college and my close friends. I am so over high school and can not wait to leave already. The people, the drama, the grades - it all needs to be over with. I find it hard to even be civil to some people. You know that scene in Mean Girls where Lindsay Lohan visualizes diving over the table to attack Regina? That's currently my life story. Give me my diploma now so I can go to this beautiful place:

the sky is the most beautiful after it rains :D by Jonathan :D.

Okay, I realize how crazy I sound. I have had some amazing adventures since I last updated. Cindo de Mayo went down in the books for sure. What's better than margaritas and sombreros? Brian and Andrew also showed their faces last night and I was pretty happy. I miss those boys and their muscles. Haha. I've done a lot of shopping (of course) lately and today I picked up this ring and pair of sandals:
So ready for summer.

Quicky

I kinda need this ridiculous yet amazing sweatshirt.

I did my senior project presentation yesterday and got a lot of compliments on the dress I made. Great to know that my hard work and design process paid off. Today was a completely relaxing day. Because of testing schedule I only had one class. I got to watch all the tv I've missed in the past week and hang out with Huey. My throat and sides are sore from all the laughing. I should probably shower now.

And yes, my laptop was fixed and I now have Ubuntu instead of Windows. It's pretty cool, but kinda weird, so I don't really want to upload my own pictures. With that note, I leave you with this:

Spring Bling

Life's been pretty great. Huey's senior ball was fun and seeing everyone's dresses was pretty hilarious. Also saw some pretty sick dance moves. Soooo excited for future plans. Also, glad I've cut unnecessary things out of my life. Time to focus on things that matter.

She Smiles

Mblem wrap top, Sevens, Coach wedges, Betsey Johnson accessories

What ever happened to Mandy Moore anyway? I researched her Mblem clothing line and there's actually a Spring collection coming soon. Exciting. This shirt kinda wouldn't stay closed today... but I guess that's why cute bras exist. I was told I looked "old", "mature", and "like Beyonce" today. Oh, the power of hoop earrings.

After a weekend of madness and anger, endless numbers of groans and sighs, and my face falling off, I actually smiled. Thanks to Nick and Huey for that.

Lobster

Busy days and nights. Visited Nick's tennis match and Amy at track, ate delicious meals, went to a dance, laughed at horrible dance moves, ran around in the crazy storm, etc. etc. I also purchased a Blood is the New Black shirt among various other things.

Saturday night at Andrew's, the metal ball of my study earring got embedded in my cartilage and was bleeding and leaking all over the place. Luckily, Amy and Brian tried to help me push it out and about half an hour later, we got it out. I replaced it with this lobster earring Amy got me for Christmas because it's a lot bigger and the post is longer. Amy put the other lobster in her piercing, so now it looks like we have swimming lobsters on our cartilage. Whee!

Back to outfits soon.

Listen To Your Body Tonight

That was me pretending to be tall last night. Black mafiaaaa! Tell me why Andrew and Chris Cu have been to my house three days in a row, even though we never do anything here. I do get to hear random stories/facts about people from Christian Brothers though, so it's not all bad. Earlier I drove in the pouring rain, and nobody died! What a success. I did scare Mikey with my lane changes though...

Pictures To Burn

Rite Aid sweatshirt (hah!), Urban pants and boots, Forever necklace

People are commenting on my all black outfits and saying I look goth. I don't think so at all. Sorry I don't wear American Eagle printed tee's and too tight jeans with converse. Oh well. Despite school driving me crazy lately, I got some great things at UO, had a delicious dinner, and got to see my favorite person. And, I got accepted to another University. Things are getting better.

Ultimate

Borrowed Huey top, Urban boots, Guess necklace, Betsey Johnson watch, Nine West bracelet, Tilly's ring

Pretty good paint job considering I did it in the car and then during anatomy, right? Currently watching Gossip Girl and thinking more people should listen to Blaire and realize that leggings are not pants! Come on high schoolers, wear longer shirts. Today some boy said I looked "dead tired" which I found extremely insulting since I was actually awake for once. I feel like it was just because I didn't smile when I saw his face. Five minutes later Peter said "You look awake and happy." Hah! This weekend was filled with lots of shaking, a bee suit, Mac Dre, massages, margaritas, football madness, lip liner, and strobe lights. Hopefully I can get some projects done this weekend. Time for Dante's Inferno and cookies and cream!

For the record, I could care less about football. I just like to dress up. Brian said I looked like Fergie... ahh.

Athletic can be cute. Coach grommet cuff, Betsey Johnson charm bracelet and earrings.

We Were Laughing, It Was Fun Fun Fun

CAA did a little reunion after school over froyo, then went to one of our favorite picture spots. We laughed and danced and jumped and ran, it was all therapeutic and good exercise. My five hour nap has refreshed me, so now I've got some things that need organizing.
