Anyway, Huey comes back today from New York!! That little bz got to travel across the country as I sat around and daydreamed in summer school. Depressing. Also, Brian, Andrew, Ryan, and I have become gambleholics. I lost $100 today and Ryan almost lost $300! Yikessss. I was angry at myself earlier but now I'm over it. Yeah, that money could've been put towards my iphone or college, but whatever, at least I had fun. I seriously need to refrain from shopping. At least until back to school shopping starts. I'll just spend it on food ... but then again, that can actually be pretty pricy. I want froyo and jamba juice so bad right now. Ahhh.

Lost

I'm at the point where I cared so much that I don't even care anymore. Earlier I was freaking out about all the schoolwork I have to do and I pushed it off for so long that now I honestly don't care. I just finished the stats project. I still need to do this extra credit resolution. I'm thinking I'll just whip something out real quick since it doesn't even matter. Then tomorrow I'm working on my group project for our lit final. What else do I have to do...

- Anatomy assignments + study
- Study map of the world
- Study for gov/world politics final
- Civic participation
- Community service write up
- Cultural events write up

But for now I have to shower. Yes, it is 3:16AM.

You would think because there are only 8 days left of school that there wouldn't be so much to do! Unfortunately, I have finals to worry about because all my grades are borderline... yet I can't make myself do anything because at the same time I don't care anymore. Such a dilemma. There are also a lot of random thoughts flying through my head. Hopefully I can sort them all out despite this heat.

Sleepy

My life has come to the point where the only thing keeping me sane are thoughts of college and my close friends. I am so over high school and can not wait to leave already. The people, the drama, the grades - it all needs to be over with. I find it hard to even be civil to some people. You know that scene in Mean Girls where Lindsay Lohan visualizes diving over the table to attack Regina? That's currently my life story. Give me my diploma now so I can go to this beautiful place:

Okay, I realize how crazy I sound. I have had some amazing adventures since I last updated. Cindo de Mayo went down in the books for sure. What's better than margaritas and sombreros? Brian and Andrew also showed their faces last night and I was pretty happy. I miss those boys and their muscles. Haha. I've done a lot of shopping (of course) lately and today I picked up this ring and pair of sandals:

Sheer Madness

College acceptances and rejections are driving everyone crazy. I feel so bad for those that didn't get into their dream schools, especially when some of the people that got in are highly questionable. It's not fair that some can have a 1400 SAT with zero extracurriculars and get into a top school just because their parents are low income and uneducated! It makes you wonder what's the point in working hard if our efforts go unnoticed.

On a lighter note, I love my new bag and shirt. This weekend I spent too much money buying temporary happiness. Oh well, it worked. San Francisco on Friday was fun, and Second Saturday was pretty lame. I need more excitement.

People are commenting on my all black outfits and saying I look goth. I don't think so at all. Sorry I don't wear American Eagle printed tee's and too tight jeans with converse. Oh well. Despite school driving me crazy lately, I got some great things at UO, had a delicious dinner, and got to see my favorite person. And, I got accepted to another University. Things are getting better.

I had to drive to school with only one contact in because I lost the left one and ran our of spares. It was a little scary, considering I had poor depth perception. But I had extras in my locker. And no, wearing glasses to school was not an option. Senior year has definitely been stressful with all the college stuff, APs, and whatnot, but I rarely have homework. I enjoy my afternoon naps and weekday excursions.

Current annoyances include flakes, back pain, and the fact that I keep hitting my new piercing every time I brush or touch my hair. Can't wait til it's fully healed and I can wear a ring. I have decided today will be a good day. Nick and Huey are coming over, what a great way to end the weekend.

All Around The World

I'm finally back. I've actually busy having a life for once. I think this was my most adventurous winter vacation to date. I hung out with lots of people and did lots of things. Shopping has be successful, and I recently went to sf. New Years Eve was a blast as I traveled around the world and back in one night. Carmichael, to Land Park, to Pocket. Oh, the festivities! School is back and session and I am back to 3 hours of sleep and restlessness. Great. Notice I am writing this at 3:37AM. I'm an insomniac/nocturnal. I am crossing my fingers that I can pull my depressing grades up. I'm trying to find ways to stay sane, and today that was by going to Downtown with Amy to shop and eating lots of chicky chicky boom boom.

Thursday and Friday were obviously plain, uneventful days. School is tedious and it's hard to stay motivated to study and do homework, let alone pay attention in class. I just keep thinking about break to keep me sane. It doesn't help that everyone is being completely ridiculous. I didn't think one could get so low as to be reimbursed for helping another.

The Black Parade

Wearing my incredibly soft, wannabe Alexander Wang tank from Impulse. It looks pretty sunny in the pictures, but this morning was extremely foggy and cold. I got my new wool coat out and was definitely happy with that decision. After class, when I was walking to my car, a girl next to me said, "You're so little, its so cute." I take that as a compliment. I know that I'm small and short, and I'm fine with that since I can pull off a lot more outfits than tall or average height people can. I just get irritated when people call me short as an insult. It's like - okay, way to state the obvious, you still have an ugly face. Haha let's get original.

Free At Last

But not really because I have a 5-page due before Midnight tomorrow, I'm still revising my personal statements, I have to read The Good Conscience, and work on my term paper. When will break ever actually be a break? At least I'll be in a food coma Thursday night!
