Uhh, can people stop being annoying? Today was long and boring. I have a lot of work to do and none of it is getting done. Senioritis is killing me.

Double Time

Friday's trip to the bay was just what I needed. School was uneventful except for the fact that I almost got detention for my shorts. Good thing sweet talking is what I do best. Berkeley was warmer than I expected it would be, but the fresh air was nice. Not so nice is when stinky hobos call you "sweet thaaaang." In San Francisco I found my homecoming dress, which I was very excited about. It was originally priced as $346, but I got it for way less. The brand is Francine and it's covered in sequins. I decided not to go the trashy/skanky way for homecoming.

I also got a t-shirt at Urban. On the way back, we ate at this Korean place. So delicious. I came home and crashed.

Saturday was craziness. I spent half of my entire day writing my English 302 paper. Then later on too many people came over. Cleaning up glass, blood, and vomit is not fun. But things like Brian dancing, Andrew running around without shoes, and meeting new people makes it all worth it. Love mah girlsss. Going to sleep at 6am is not good.

Today I woke up when Brian decided to wake up from his coma. Then I went upstairs to find Amy in the funniest position ever. After she left I woke up Huey downstairs. We got dim sum and went to the Rack. I found her a cute top. Then I came home and nearly died. I wrote my myth for lit and it is the funniest thing ever. Mission accomplished!I decided to wear my OBEY hat that I got a little while ago since I looked so nasty from lack of sleep.

Genius

I hate how my Ipod is synced with my prehistoric, slow computer. Updating it is such a hassle. It'd almost rather listen to CDs for the rest of my life. I'm glad Friday has finally returned once again. I'm starting to feel the stress of senior year, but I'm just taking it one step at a time. This weather seriously needs to stop though. I can't stand being this hot any longer. No outfit is cute when you're sweaty! Float building is starting up and next weekend is homecoming! I'm stoked, except for the fact that I've yet to find an outfit. Good thing I'm going to the bay tomorrow!

Let There Be Light!

Last night all my light bulbs blew out. My mom replaced them this morning and now my room is illuminated once again. I can see! Sadly, Sunday has come again. This weekend was uneventful, though today I got another pair of Steve Madden sandals to add to my collection. I also got the car washed at a new place. I love shiny cars and how the soap is rainbow. They have these really powerful vacuums too that are fun. I just finished watching The Kite Runner.It was definitely not as good as the book. I was disappointed. Now I'm off to do more procrastinating. What a life.

I Can Be Your Addiction

Thursday was a snore and my outfit was so ridiculously high school I couldn't stand it. A Ruehl tank and denim skirt, aih. I hate how the weather is sub-zero in the morning and ridiculously hot by lunch. Today was day two of Club Rush and I was pleased to see lots of people sign up. Hopefully we get a lot of new members.

Ah, the perks of being petite. You can wear large tank tops as dresses.

One Less

I got my second HPV shot today. The new building was clean and modern. I loved it. I took a little nap on a cushioned bench in the waiting area while a Spiderman cartoon was playing. Got some Chinese food and went shopping for a bit. It was unsuccessful in the sense that I didn't get anything, but successful in helping with my procrastination of homework. My Kite Runner essay was horrible, but at least that's done with.

Booties

I was exhausted and I still am despite a three hour nap. I'm lagging on outlining two essays. Lunch meeting went well today and I hope everything runs smoothly at Club Rush. Breaking in my new Urban booties was a little rough on my feet, but worth it.

Classical Techniques

Life and my mood have been on the rise. Friday was extremely hot and uneventful so I relaxed and caught up on my sleep. Boring days mean boring outfits. Hence, the Express tank.

Saturday I went out with my sister and mom. We went to a Japanese market and I got a huge watermelon flavor snow cone. It's only half full in the picture. I picked up a tank top and tshirt from Urban. For dinner my sister treated us to a delicious meal at Il Fornaio. I love the sugary rim of the lemon drop. The calamari appetizer is especially delectable and I highly recommend it. Later on Brian, Jack, Katie, Annie, Andrew, Ryan, Amy, and Bill came over. It was an eventful night ending with a photo shoot on Amy's car.

Today, Sunday, was a lazy day. I made a trip to downtown and got a Free People tank top along with this Forever21 bracelet that I've been wanting for a while. What a success.

White Houses

That song by Vanessa Carlton has been stuck in my head for the past three days straight. I find it disturbing that I used to like that song in 8th grade but it's about sex. Today was picture day and since they're only for our ID cards, lots of people tried to take goofy ones.
Almost everyone thought my nose ring was real. I found that amusing, along with the fact that I had mushroom hair. I was dead tired and fell asleep in sociology, all bad. I slept when I got home and then went to Shari's with Huey. Then we went back to her house, she gave me clothes, and we did other nonsense. Hanging out on weeknights makes school more tolerable.

Nothing Like The Real Thing

I'm exhausted and my head is throbbing. School was school. In Sociology we discussed the power of authority and what compels people to be obedient. We watched a clip about incidents that occurred at McDonald's and other fast food joints across the country in which a man claiming to be a police officer called the managers and ordered them to strip search employees. In this one case, there was a surveillance camera that caught the female manager strip searching a high school girl. The manager then had her fiance come in to watch the girl while she went back to work. The man on the phone told the fiance to have her do degrading things naked like jumping jacks, bend over, and then had her perform oral sex on him. It sounded so strange that these people would believe this stranger's authority and follow his instructions. But, I guess you can never really understand it unless you've been in that situation.

My Inspiration

I love Hannabeth's innovativeness so I took a cue from her and wore a skirt as a dress today. I've had this Urban skirt for almost 3 years now and I haven't touched it until now. I got compliments too, which is always good.

Today was a relatively good day besides from a cop pulling me over for speeding before school. Whatever, I got out of it and now I have to be more careful. I also can't find my CD from Amy. I hope it's in my locker. My three hour nap was bliss and now I must do my homework. If all goes well tomorrow, maybe I can hang out with Huey.
